MUZAFFARABAD: Indian troops targeted a funeral in a border village of Azad Jammu and Kashmir from across the Line of Control (LoC) Thursday, leaving two mourners martyred and an elderly woman injured, in Polas Kakuta village of the Abbaspur sector of Poonch district.
The deceased, Muhammad Iqbal Kiani and his cousin Shaukat Kiani, belonged to a nearby village of Chaffar. Residents said that Shaukat Kiani was a Subedar (junior commissioned officer) in the army and was on leave. SABAH
News Desk adds: According to a TV channel report, Pak troops retaliated and destroyed the bunker from where fire was coming, killing an Indian soldier and injuring five.
