George R.R. Martin had heard e**ugh chatter about the Game of Thrones *** scene between Jaime and Cersei Lannister — the showrunners changed what he had written as a consensual tryst into a rape. So he decided to address it in writing, suggesting that his version of the dynamic between brother and sister was significantly different from the dynamic on HBO.
