ISLAMABAD: The ECP on Monday adjourned Contempt of court proceedings against PTI chief Imran Khan until December 18. A four-member Commission, headed by Chief Election Commissioner Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza (retd) heard the proceedings and adjourned the hearing as Imran?s petition on the matter was pending in the Islamabad High Court. PTI counsel Babar Awan argued that his client had challenged the electoral laws in the Islamabad High Court, and a judge is scheduled to hear the case on December 15. The ECP directed Babar Awan to present arguments on behalf of his client before the Commission on December 18.
