LAHORE: Jamaatud Dawa (JD) Ameer Hafiz Saeed has accused India of violating international laws on human rights by using ammunition containing chemical agents in Kashmir to suppress the indigenous freedom struggle of Kashmiris. ?India has literally crossed all limits by subjecting unarmed Kashmiris to state terrorism. chemical weapons are being used to destroy Kashmiris? homes,? he said while addressing a gathering of JD leaders and workers here on Wednesday. Previously, Saeed said Kashmiri commander Abdul Majid was martyred by using illegal weapons. Now, the poor Kashmiris were falling victim to these lethal weapons. He said the so-called world community should feel shame after watching the bodies of innocent people killed by the Indian army employing lethal weapons. The world, including the UN, was observing culpable silence over India?s use of banned weapons, he said and urged the Pakistan government to come out of its slumber and end its apathy on this crucial issue and raise its voice at international forums.
He said: ?India has always leveled baseless allegations against Pakistan. Now it has been proved that the Kashmiris freedom struggle is purely indigenous.? He criticized India for brutally torturing Kashmiris, especially Shahid Yousaf, son of Muttahida Jihad Council chief Syed Salahuddin. He said scores of Kashmiris were seriously wounded by the Indian army but were not provided medical facilities. The recent attacks were being carried out with the blessing of Modi?s government, he said.
