Both the leaders were also agreed not to use force against the protesters.

During the meeting, they also exchanged views on the situation emerged after the crackdown on protesters.

About the interior ministry?s notification calling out the Army for deployment in the capital, the Army Chief said that it needs some explanation as the notice carries sensitivity.

He said that the Army would act upon every order in line with the Constitution, however, there is no need to send more troops, adding that power should not be used against own people. The prime minister was also agreed with the COAS on avoiding use of force against the masses.
