Court declares Ishaq Dar absconder in corruption reference
  ISLAMABAD: An accountability Court on Tuesday declared Finance* *Minister Ishaq Dar absconder as it resumed* hearing of a corruption reference. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which has filed corruption references against Sharif family and the finance minister, requested the Court to declare the accused* absconder for his absence from proceedings . The Court also dismissed Dar?s pleas seeking exemption from proceedings and appointing a representative in his absence. The pleas were moved by a counsel for the finance minister who is* reportedly undergoing medical treatment abroad.* The Court also issued notice to Ishaq Dar?s guarantor Ahmed Ali Qudoosi, asking him to submit his response till November 24. The Court also asked through the notice as to* why* surety bonds deposited by the guarantor be confiscated.
