RAWALPINDI: Pakistan security forces killed at least eight to ten terrorists who launched cross-border attack at the check-posts of Pak Army in Bajaur Agency from Afghanistan, Inter Services Public Relations said.
According to ISPR, the militants launched attack from border areas of Afghanistan. In befitting response by Pakistani security forces at least 8-10 terrorists were killed and several others sustained injuries.
The injured militants managed to escape to the border areas.
Military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that Pakistan is paying price for security vacuum on Afghan side of the border.

In series of tweets, in which he confirmed the martyrdom of Pak Army officials in the cross-border attack, DG ISPR said, “Pakistan has done its part; cleared all areas. More efforts required on Afghan side by all stake holders.”
He added that lives of forces and citizens equally precious on both sides. Elimination of terrorists’ sanctuaries in Afghanistan and effective Afghan border security is required.
