Equity mutual funds see record Rs 12,727-crore inflow in July

Equity mutual funds saw a record inflow of Rs 12,727 crore in July primarily due to a rally in the stock markets and hopes of rate cut by the Reserve Bank. This also marks the 16th straight month of inflows into Equity schemes. Prior to that, such funds had witnessed a pullout of Rs 1,370 crore in March 2016.
