0545 GMT - Qatar's bourse may test chart resistance on Wednesday as it approaches its February peak, while falling oil prices could weigh on Saudi Arabia petrochemicals. Qatar's benchmark rose 1.8 percent to 11,849 points on Tuesday, approaching the February high of 11,900 points. Qatar, the world's top liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter, plans to implement a massive infrastructure building programme ahead of hosting the 2022 World Cup soccer tournament. Index compiler MSCI will upgrade Qatar, together with the United Arab Emirates, to emerging-market status at the end of May in a move that is likely to bring in more foreign investment to the local market.
