SC indicts Nehal Hashmi in contempt of court case
 ISLAMABAD: The Supreme court on Monday indicted Senator Nehal Hashmi in contempt of court case for ridiculing the judiciary and asked the attorney general for Pakistan to prosecute Hashmi after providing evidence against him before the court after July 20.A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, and comprising Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijazul Ahsen, framed the charge against Nehal Hashmi in contempt of court for his speech, threatening the institutions of dire consequences. Nehal Hasmi, however, pleaded **t guilty, saying he will file his statement. The chief justice of Pakistan had taken a suo moto **tice over Nehal Hashmi’s address to a public gathering which had gone viral on social media last month in which he extended threats and warning to those interrogating the premier and his family in Panama Paper case. Nehal Hashmi, in a speech to workers in Karachi at a Youm-e-Takbeer event, on May 31 had threatened the prime minister's unidentified ‘enemies’. “The one you are investigating is the PM’s son,” roared Hashmi.
