Chinese engineer falls to death at CPEC site
ABBOTTABAD: A Chinese engineer died after he fell into a hole dug for construction of a pillar on the China-Pakistan Eco**mic Project (CPEC) project site near Doba Tharpawa Motorway section II. Fung Qui, 35, was working on the construction site along with a team when he fell down on the iron rods. He received injuries on head and chest and legs.
He was brought to District Hospital in critical condition on Saturday morning where he succumbed to his injuries. The hospital administration also issued his death certificate. DPO Abbottabad Ashfaq Anwar said the police were conducting an inquiry into the incident.
