ISLAMABAD: Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has said that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) could **t make Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by setting aside rules and regulations.
In his reply which he submitted to the Supreme Court (SC) in connection with the allegations of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Wednesday, he took the stance that on the one hand, the JIT report was full of controversies in which the JIT confessed to leaking of his picture and, on the other hand, it considered his application as part of the campaign against the JIT.
Hussain Nawaz, in his reply, said that control of CCTV was with the JIT and its only focus was a man who appeared as a witness, therefore, the JIT was responsible for the leak of his picture.
He said that he did **t use objectionable language against anyone in his application. He said that the JIT members could **t exonerate themselves from the picture leak issue. He said ** member of the JIT was seen in CCTV. He said that under rules and regulations, the JIT was **t allowed to carry out video recording, while the JIT itself made SOPs of recording which it did **t have the power to do so by ig**ring rules and regulations. The Federal Law Ministry, SECP, FBR also submitted their replies to the Supreme Court.
