Says PML-N should face Panama JIT instead of blaming others KHAIRPUR: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to expel the **tion of defeating the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from his mind. “Imran Khan should **t remain under the delusion that he can ever defeat PPP. People come and go in a political party. But it does **t mean that anyone’s exit from the PPP will make the party weaker,” he said, adding that Imran can**t defeat the PPP. He said this while talking to the media here on Saturday after inaugurating the 196th Urs of Sufi saint Hazrat Sachal Sarmast. The Sindh CM lashed out at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and advised the ruling party to save itself instead of levelling false accusations on others. He said that those appearing before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) should save themselves from the ongoing probe into the Panama Leaks case instead of talking about others. He said that the people who were involved in illegal activities also levelled allegations against others. He said that the people of Sindh were compelled to face power outages of over 20 hours in this scorching heat but the federal government was doing **thing to resolve this issue. He said that either the tall claims of federal government to produce 19,000 or 20,000MW electricity were false or it was **t providing to the people electricity of Sindh intentionally. Murad Ali Shah said he was **t satisfied with the performance of the K-Electric, Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) and Sukkur Electric Power Company (Sepco). “I spoke against the K-Electric and Hesco in my budget speech. The federal government has failed to ensure power supply to the province,” he remarked. While talking about Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar, Murad Ali Shah said that the provincial government could **t give authorities to him either than those approved. “Funds are being given as per law,” he said, adding that being part of the government, he could **t do any illegal work. Shah said that the federal government of the PML-N was bound to give the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award to provinces in 2015. He said that the government had **t performed its duties regarding the NFC Award. Shah said that former prime minister Shaukat Aziz had also failed to give the NFC award. He further added that the PPP government had given the NFC Award to provinces. Murad Ali Shah said that **t giving the NFC Award to provinces was a constitutional failure of the federal government.
