Says Muslim rulers are puppets of West
**WSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq on Monday expressed concern over the declaration of the Ulema conference held recently in Islamabad. He said that the meeting of the US and Saudi leaders in Riyadh and the subsequent Ulema conference in Pakistan was an attempt to block jihad. Maulana Samiul Haq, who is head of Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak, said that sectarianism and extremism were a threat to Islam, but issuing such a fatwa was **t a prudent decision. He pointed out that religious scholars who met in Islamabad had claimed that jihad could **t be declared without permission of rulers. However, he argued that the rulers of the Muslim world were puppets of the West and could **t declare jihad against their masters. The JUI-S head said that his party was opposed to the 'hidden terrorism' and suicide bombings in Pakistan. However, he voiced concern over the issuance of the fatwa by religious scholars against suicide bombing and acts of terrorism in Pakistan. It may be mentioned that 31 Pakistani Ulema who met at the International Islamic University in Islamabad recently issued a Fatwa declaring acts of terrorism and suicide bombings in Pakistan as "Haram" and emphasizing that only the rulers of Islamic countries can an**unce jihad. The 31 Ulema, who included Mufti Taqi Usmani, Maulana Hanif Jullundhari and others, also described sectarianism as against the teachings of Islam, termed those using force and terrorist acts for enforcement of Shariah as traitors, and backed the Pakistan military operations against the militants. The name of Maulana Hamidul Haq, a former MNA who is the eldest son of Maulana Samiul Haq, was also mentioned among the Ulema who issued the six-point Fatwa. أكثر... ??????? ??????: JUI-S chief questions declaration of Ulema moot || ??????: ahlam1399 || ??????: اسم منتداك
