**WSHERA: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq on Monday said that he had played a role in the release of the girls who were kidnapped by militant group Boko Haram in Nigeria.
The Nigerian government an**unced that 82 of the girls who had been taken from a school in Chibok, Nigeria, had been released in exchange for handing over six suspected militants to Boko Haram. The JUI-S welcomed the agreement between the Boko Haram and Nigerian government, which helped secure the release of 82 girls aged between 16-18 years abducted by the militant group in April 2014. In a statement issued to the media, the JUI-F chief hoped that the remaining abducted girls would be set free after meaningful negotiations. The Nigerian government had then approached Maulana Samiul Haq and requested him to use his influence over the militant organisation and play his role in securing the safe release of the abducted girls. Later, the Maulana had recorded a video message in Arabic language in which he called upon the militant organisation to release the abducted girls. “Islam bars its followers from causing any harm to women and children,” the statement quoted him as telling the militants. The Maulana **ted that war was ** solution to any problem and hoped that the Nigerian government and Boko Haram would solve their differences through negotiations. أكثر... ??????? ??????: Sami claims role in release of girls kidnapped by Boko Haram || ??????: ahlam1399 || ??????: اسم منتداك
