 Says people had elected him; those asking PM to resign live in fool’s paradise**WSHERA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) provincial head Amir Muqam said on Sunday that the people had elected Nawaz Sharif and ** one can dare seek his resignation. He said those demanding the prime minister to step down lived in a fool's paradise. "Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has secured mandate from the people of Pakistan and those asking him to resign will face a crushing defeat in the 2018 general election," he said while addressing a well-attended public gathering in Nizampur here. Amir Muqam said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan didn't have the courage to ask the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and other corrupt ministers to resign after corruption allegations were leveled against them. "Imran Khan has double standards and has lost the confidence of the people," he said, adding that the PTI leader could **t hoodwink the people of the Punjab and he should stop dreaming of becoming the prime minister. Coming down hard on KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak, he said that those claiming to have brought about change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should visit Punjab to see the development. He said that PTI-led provincial government had failed to implement its so-called agenda of change. "I am very sad to see the underdevelopment in Nizampur. Pervaiz Khattak belongs to **wshera, but he even couldn't undertake uplift projects in his hometown," he sneered. Pakistan People's Party former MPA Major (R) Baseer Ahmad Khattak, Amin Akbar, Rasheed Khattak and thousands of people belonging to 28 villages and four union councils in Nizampur an**unced joining the PML-N. They reposed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Amir Muqam, who is also adviser to the prime minister. PML-N provincial senior vice-president Ikhtiar Wali, former district nazim Daud Khan Khattak and Pir Zulfiqar Bacha also addressed the gathering. Amir Muqam said that the PML-N would form the next government in the Centre as well as in the four provinces. "Nawaz Sharif will become the prime minister for the fourth time. We will drive out Imran Khan from KP in the next elections," he asserted. He said the KP government talked about its much-trumpeted reforms in the health sector, it had assigned the task of revamping the public sector hospitals to a doctor, who was sitting abroad. He said the PTI government had miserably failed to deliver on the election pledges and the people would vote them out at the next polls. "The PTI will suffer annihilation at the next polls," he said, adding that the people were **t simpletons. The PML-N leader said the PTI leaders deceived the people in the name of change and didn't care about ho**uring the pledges after reaching the corridors of power. "Imran Khan and his party wasted time on useless sit-ins and protests instead of serving the people. **w that the government has almost completed its tenure, the chief minister is trying to woo investors to make investment in the province," he said.
