Ex-TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan surrenders himself to security forces: DG ISPR
 ISLAMABAD: DG ISPR Major Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that former TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan surrendered himself to the security forces.“Operation Radd-ul Fasaad was an action to reject “fasaad” on behalf of the nation,” the DG ISPR told a press conference here on Monday. He said that the Operation Radd-ul Fasaad was planned to consolidate the earlier operations. Giving further details of the ongoing operation, he said that facilitators of terrorists will be eliminated. Illegal ******* will be confiscated from across the country. The operation also aims to improve the existing system. The DG ISPR said that the Operation Radd-ul Fasaad, launched on Feb 22, was a pledge to eradicate “fasaad” from the country. Fifteen major actions were carried out under the operation in which 4510 suspects were arrested. He added that 1,859 unregistered Afghan nationals were arrested, 4083 illegal ******* were confiscated while 558 people surrendered themselves to the security forces during the operation. Eight major operations were carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four in Balochistan while two were conducted in Punjab in which hundreds of suspects were arrested, Major Gen Asif Ghafoor said. Speaking about Karachi, the DG ISPR said that the nature of operation being carried in the city is different. He said that 100 kilometers area in the Bajaur Agency will be fenced. The target of terrorists in Swat was education. About the ceasefire violations by India, he said that there had been a rise in such cases on the border as 222 breaches reported this year. India is committing the ceasefire violations to divert attention from the situation in occupied Kashmir. About the dropping of largest **n-nuclear bomb in Afghanistan, Major Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the attack reflects the US commitment against the Daesh. He said that the Daesh’s prime target is youth while their medium is tech**logy. Speaking about **reen who was arrested from Lahore, the DG ISPR said that she never visited Syria although she had informed through email and facebook that she was leaving for the war-torn country.
