Law enforcers arrest terrorist in Lahore

LAHORE: Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have arrested a terrorist from Ghazi Road late on Sunday.

Sources said the arrested terrorist identified as Omar alias Sufiyan was arrested near Saddar area. He is said to be close aide of militant and proclaimed offender Azeem aka Fauji.

Sources said Omar is resident of Multan and used to provide residence to the militants. He was arrested while getting a house on rent at Ghazi Road area.

Meanwhile, two suspects were taken into custody from Cantt area. The suspects identified as Ramzan Khan and an Afghan national were arrested on their alleged involvement in Bedian Road, Lahore terror incident.

The law enforcers have also apprehended two suspects from Bhatta Chowk for their involvement in Charing Cross incident.
