ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb took a strong exception to the remarks of Imran Khan while speaking at a business summit under the auspices of Leaders in Islamabad Forum that the country had become bankrupt. In a statement, she said that his statement reflected his own mental bankruptcy. Showing agreement with his contention that he was **t cut out for Pakistani politics, she said that due to his inefficiency, negative politics and because of his pathological status he surely would have to flee to the UK which would be better for him as well as Pakistan. She said that Imran's politics revolved around blatant lies and fomenting chaos and anarchy in the country, which would ultimately prove to be his nemesis but he refused to learn. Marriyum said that Imran had been incessantly lying in Urdu language and **w he had taken to English to promote the falsehood which would bury his politics. She said that Imran was better advised to discard politics on the Panama issue and focus more on serving the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She also urged him to forget about accountability at the national level and instead unlock the Ehtasab Commission and strengthen it. The minister observed that politics was about serving the masses and **t minting money like him. Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that the PML-N government had faced many challenges after coming into power and put the country on path of speedy progress. The incidents of terrorism had been reduced while the steps were being taken to address energy shortage, he said while talking to a private news channel. The minister said international organisations were appreciating eco**mic indicators of Pakistan which was result of untiring efforts of finance minister and his team. To a question, he said a recent survey, in which Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was reported as most popular party, was conducted by a credible institution of the country. Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) was a highly ranked institution of the country so Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should **t raise questions on credibility of the survey, he said.Our correspondent addes: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said on Friday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had ** line of becoming prime minister on his palm. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs Dr Syed Asif Saeed Kirmani said that Imran Khan lacked moral fibre and political acumen essential for a person to become a leader of any nation. “Unfortunately, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is deficient in character and qualities of a political leader.” In a statement, he said that the PTI leader had failed to restore the accountability system in the KP province where the accountability ****** had been lying closed since the day it nabbed a provincial minister. “He must open the closed ****** before aspiring to become prime minister of the country.
