When 19-year-old aspiring Model Mimi Mbah uploaded photos of herself on vacation in Cameroon, her pictures were shared by a Twitter page called @_AFRICANS_, which is "dedicated to all the beautiful Africans worldwide." After her photos went viral, Mimi **ticed an Ig**rant comment About her Dark skin underneath the post. "If she was lighter, she'd be fire," one Twitter user named Tosh wrote.
Fortunately, Tosh's ugly comment did **t discourage the gorgeous model. Instead, she took a screenshot of it and kindly replied with a Glorious clapback of her own. "** thanks, I wouldn't trade my skin color for the world!" Mimi tweeted. "Still [fire] tho."
Here's where we all stand up and give a round of applause for her epic comeback, which **w has over 57,000 "likes" and 21,000 retweets at press time.
It's such a shame that in 2017, there are still people who believe that lighter skin complexions make someone more attractive. It's courageous models like Mimi Mbah who are changing the false narrative of what it truly means to be beautiful, and yes, that includes people with darker complexions.
