Google's new font is a beautiful typeface for East Asian languages
![]() ![]() ![]() Adobe and Google have partnered to launch the second leg of an open-source project which aims at providing a unified typeface for the 1.5 billion people in East Asia.* SEE ALSO: Divorced couple still gets their family photo taken every year for their son Adobe calls the new font Source Han Serif, while Google calls it **to Serif CJK which stands for Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages.* The two companies worked with local foundries in China, Japan and Korea to design all the 65,535 glyphs in each of the seven weights, to make a staggering total of 458,745 glyphs.
