MADRID: Police have arrested Five suspected members of an Islamic State cell in Spain, Belgium and Germany that spread propaganda for the group online, the Spanish interior ministry said on Wednesday.
The suspects, a Moroccan and four Spaniards, are accused of inciting attacks and acting as go-betweens for IS recruitment in Europe. Two suspects were arrested in Barcelona in **rtheastern Spain, one in Spain´s **rth African territory of Melilla, one in Brussels and a**ther in Wuppertal, in Germany, the ministry said in a statement.
The interior ministry of Germany´s **rth Rhine-Westphalia region confirmed the detention of a 20-year-old Spaniard in Wuppertal, which it said was carried out early Wednesday morning "on the basis of an international arrest warrant."
