Ever since PTI chief Imran Khan an**unced his march towards Raiwind close to where Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's residence is located, tensions rose between both parties. Workers From the PML-N had threatened to stop PTI workers From laying siege to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's residence while Imran Khan threatened dire consequences if his party's workers were assaulted.
However, in a rare gesture of goodwill, PML-N workers in Lahore released 100 doves as a sign of friendship towards PTI and an obvious attempt to calm down rising escalations between both parties. PML-N MPA Waheed Gul said that protest was Imran Khan's democratic right and further added that workers loyal to Nawaz Sharif would exercise restraint.
