Massive crowd welcomes Bhutto scion in Malir
KARACHI: A spontaneous reception for Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari turned out into a large welcome in Karachi’s Malir district as crowds of men, women, children and elderly people came out from the narrow lanes and swarmed the main National Highway to greet and respond to his roaring slogans of “Khappay Khappay – Pakistan Khappay” here on Thursday evening.
Carrying PPP flags and portraits of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, supporters crawled in front and behind him right from Karachi International Airport up to the end of the rally, chanting slogans and dancing on PPP songs. Addressing the crowds en route, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari thanked the people of Malir for returning back the Sindh Assembly seat PS-127 to PPP after 12 years. "The day is **t far when people of Karachi will elect PPP candidates with big margins in 2018," he said. PPP Chairman said that they would work together and every Karachiite should support PPP to restore the glory of the 'City of Lights' and bring about peace, prosperity and development. "Let us join hands to end the dark night in Karachi and bring in a new dawn." He said that Urdu-speaking, Sindhi-speaking, Balochi-speaking, Pashto-speaking,Siraiki-speaking ,Punjabi-speaking and Gujrati-speaking people of Karachi will vote and support PPP. Taking shots at other parties' election symbols, Bilawal said that the kite, bat and other signs reflected hate and bloodshed. The Bhutto scion said that only the arrow will win from Karachi. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Panama Leaks was the biggest corruption scandal in the history of the world and PML-N government was trying to escape from investigations but warned that people of Pakistan and the PPP won’t allow 'Panama Sharifs' to flee. "We will expose them and hold them accountable while the masses will also conduct accountability in their own way," he said.
