Airport shuttle service to be launched in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: In line with directions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, a shuttle service would be launched to be operated from three most feasible points in Islamabad so that maximum people can avail this transport service.
During a visit to the new Islamabad International Airport, Mayor of Islamabad and CDA chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz said that Planning Wing of CDA has started survey for selection of three most suitable points which would be completed very soon. He said that those points will be selected where maximum number of the people could be facilitated. Mayor Aziz has said that state-of-the-art new international Airport is **t only an essential requirement of the time but it will also serve the future travelling needs in line with international standards. Director General Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Air Marshal (R) Asim Suleman briefed the mayor about the development work being carried out at New International Airport. Aziz visited the construction work being carried out on different on different segments of New Islamabad International Airport and assured full cooperation of Metropolitan Corporation (MCI) and CDA to CAA in this regard.
