Pakistan thrash Oman 8-3 in last game

KARACHI: Host Pakistan showed ** mercy to visiting Oman U-18 hockey team registered third straight win beating Oman by 8-3 score in the last match of the four-match test ****** here at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore on Tuesday.

Oman´s best result in the ****** was a 2-2 draw in the first match of the ******.

Pakistan´s Ali Aziz braced for the side while Adeel Latif, Junaid Manzoor, Khairullah, Afraz, Abdulla Babar and Ahmed Nadeem produced one goal each.

For Oman, Rashad Hameed scored twice while Adnan Abdulla scored once.

Pakistan´s delighted team manager Kamran Ashraf said the young players improved their game with every outing.

“The team´s coordination and understanding improved with every game. I am very happy with the performance and I feel the team is well prepared for the Boys under 18 Asia Cup starting in Bangladesh in few days,” he added.
