   NEW YORK — *The Emmys were a time to celebrate diversity on television — but many celebrities also utilized the awards show as a forum to bash Donald Trump. After winning an Emmy for best director for Amazon's Transparent, showrunner Jill Soloway called the Republican presidential **minee a "monster." "Any moment that I have to call Trump out for being an heir to Hitler, I will," she told reporters backstage during the awards. She said Trump is "other-izing people." "He calls women pigs if they don't look like beauty pageant contestants, he blames Muslims and Mexicans for our problems, he makes fun of disabled people," Soloway added.
