Pride of Australia, Ben Mendelsohn beats out GoT actors to win an Emmy
It's a first-time Emmy win for Australian actor and undeniable bloody legend Ben Mendelsohn, who took home Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama ****** for his role as Danny Rayburn on the Netflix ****** Bloodline.
Mendelsohn beat a number of high profile contenders, including Game of Thrones actors, Kit Harrington and Peter Dinklage, Michael Kelly from House of Cards, Jon Voight from Ray Do**van, and Jonathan Banks of Better Caul Saul.
He saved organisers an acceptance speech, however, as he wasn't in attendance at the ceremony.
Like many Australian character actors **w making it big in Hollywood, Mendelsohn paid his dues in the local screen industry, appearing dramas like Neighbours and the Secret Life of Us.
