Capital police ******rs ordered to improve their performance
The directions were issued by Senior Superintendent of police Islamabad Sajid Kiani, who also ordered the ******rs to make an ongoing *****down against the proclaimed offenders more effective. The SSP also asked the ******rs to make security of the media houses, educational institutes, banks and other important buildings more effective. Besides, also start efforts for security measures regarding the holy month of Muharram with coordination of the concern people.SSP Kinai also asked the police ******rs to provide security to the officials of the polio teams in their respective areas. The meeting was held at Rescue-15, which was also attended by SP Investigation Capt (retired) Mohammad Ilyas, zones SPs, sub-divisional police ******rs, and station house ******rs.The SSP reviewed the performance of the SHOs regarding the arrest of the POs. Later he directed the ******rs to make sure the arrest of the POs in their respective areas and in this regard poor performance would **t be tolerated. Those found performing poorly will face departmental action, while the other who performs well will be awarded, the SSP told them. He also directed the ******rs to complete the under investigation cases without any delay on merit. Besides, criminal having police record also put under surveillance and vigilance mount around them, he added.SSP Kiani also asked the SHO to take effective measures to control the crime in their areas and in this regard utilize the Safe City Project. He also asked for the effective security around the educational institutes, media houses, banks and other important buildings in their respective areas. Besides, check and inspect the security on daily basis, as negligence over the issue will **t be tolerated in this regard. SSP Kiani also asked them to use police communication system. In this regard performance of the police ******r will also be checked on daily basis.He asked all the ******rs, especially SHOs to provide security to the officials of the polio campaign. Besides, supervise their security and brief the policemen, deployed for the same about it.SSP Kiani further directed that it was the police prime responsibility to protect the lives and property of the people.
