Khawaja Izhar arrested without warrants: Farooq Sattar *
KARACHI: MQM Pakistan leader Dr Farooq Sattar has stated that Khawaja Izharul Hassan was taken into custody without arrest warrants.
Speaking to media outside the residence of Khawaja Izhar, Farooq Sattar strongly condemned arrest of MQM leader and said it was an insult of political and democratic system. He said arrest of Khawaja Izhar, without warrants, shows hostility towards MQM. “It is **t the matter of running party from London but it shows hostility towards MQM,” he said. “Neither accused **r anything illegal was found from the residence of Khawaja Izhar,” he said. Police on Friday took MQM Pakistan leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan into custody. SSP Malir Rao Anwar arrived at the residence of Khawaja Izhar in Buffer Zone area and took him into custody.
