Terrifying footage shows lightning bolt narrowly missing car
   LONDON — lightning — particularly the forked, scary kind — isn't all that common in Britain. SEE ALSO: Because regular lightning is **t scary e**ugh, here's T-Rex lightning The man who filmed the footage below in Bournemouth, UK, on Tuesday probably wasn't expecting to capture much more than a bit of pelting rain when he turned his camera on. He got a fair bit more than he bargained for, though. It's sort of hard to see what's going on at first, but if you re-watch the clip it looks as though a bolt of lightning hits the tree by one of the parked cars in the distance.
