The year 2016 has been great in terms of the number of Pakistani films that have released as both new and experienced filmmakers are trying their hands at tackling multiple genres.
While we saw the release of films like Asim Reza’s Ho Mann Jahaan, Nasir Khan’s Bachaana and Ashir Azeem’s patriotic thriller Maalik earlier in the year, three more films are expected to hit cinema screens this Eid-ul-Azha, followed by Wajahat Rauf’s Lahore Se Aagey and Mehreen Jabbar’s Dobara Phir Se with the latter two releasing in **vember this year. Among films releasing this holiday season is Anjum Shahzad’s romantic drama, Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay (that stars Feroze Khan & Sajal Aly), Nabeel Qureshi’s social satire, Actor-in-Law (featuring Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat and veteran Indian actor Om Puri) and Azfar Jafri’s Janaan (that stars Armeena Khan, Bilal Ashraf and Ali Rehman Khan in lead roles). Ashir Azeem’s directorial venture, Maalik, which got banned after initial release, has also been re-released in cinemas across Pakistan. Aside from all this, you can also catch Mohib Mirza-Sanam Saeed-starrer Bachaana, which is heading to the small screen this Eid-ul-Azha. With multiple options to choose from, this festive season is going to be a filmy affair. One can only hope these films manage to make a mark and take Pakistani cinema a step further. أكثر... ??????? ??????: Look out for Pakistani films on this Eid holiday || ??????: ahlam1399 || ??????: اسم منتداك
