ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Tech**logy Anusha Rahman has said that Jehangir Tareen paid a fine of Rs70 million to the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for inside trading.
She was replying to the stance of Jehangir Tareen in the National Assembly. She said Tareen was issued show cause **tices for investing money and keeping assets in the name of his servants. She said Tareen had deposited this money in the Bank of Punjab through the MCB and the speaker has sent the reference for his disqualification to the Election Commission. If he has some objection, he should move the Election Commission instead of making a speech in the assembly, she said.
