Sri Lanka opt to bat in 2nd T20I against Australia

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka won the toss for the ninth time in ten matches on tour, and chose to bat first in the second Twenty20 International at the R Premadasa Stadium.

The hosts left out seamer Kasun Rajitha from the XI that was defeated by 85 runs on Wednesday, with legspinning allrounder Seekkuge Prasanna taking his place. Sachithra Senanayake and Thisara Perera were persisted with.

Australia brought in Matthew Wade in place of George Bailey, who has left the squad. There was one change to the seam attack with John Hastings replacing Scott Boland.
