From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: Five proclaimed offenders (POs) escaped with the connivance of their accomplices on Thursday. On a tip-off, police raided Shahu Baloch to arrest PO Soba but he escaped with the help of his accomplice Asif. Police reached Chak Rakh to arrest PO Nadeem, who are alerted by his accomplice Imran and escaped. Police raided Luqman Meerka to arrest PO Sher but he escaped with the help of his accomplice Mnagay Khan. Police on a tip-off raided Chak Rakh to arrest PO Shameer but he escaped with the connivance of his accomplice Riazul Hassan. Police raided Chak Rakh to arrest PO Abbas but he escaped with the help of his accomplice Mushtaq. Police have registered cases. THEFT INCIDENTS: Locals were robbed of cash and valuables on Thursday. Two thieves stole water pump and building construction material worth Rs 50,000 from the shop of Ahmad Hassan of Fareed Nagar, Pakpattan. Seven thieves stole gold ornaments, cash, clothes and other things from the house of Jamil of Fareed Kot. Four thieves stole different things worth Rs 38,000 from the house of Shafique of Chak 50/EB. Police have registered cases. HELD FOR DECANTING: The Civil Defence ******r on a tip-off raided and arrested a shopkeeper, who was decanting.
