Nation is proud of its valiant soldiers: GOC
SUKKUR: The GOC of Pa** Aqil, Major-General Faiz Hameed, while addressing a Defense Day ceremony at the Pa** Aqil Garrison, said that the Nation was proud of the soldiers of the Pakistan Army who had embraced martyrdom while defending the country’s sovereignty.
Major-General Faiz Hameed said that the Nation would never forget the sacrifices of its valiant soldiers. The GOC said, “We will win the war against terrorism like we won the 1965 War.” He said that last year as many as 40 applications had been submitted by the heirs of the martyred Jawans of the Pakistan Army, and all those applications had been addressed.
