Imran considers himself NAB, FBR, SC: Dar
KARACHI: Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan considered himself the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Supreme Court (SC).
He said that Imran should mend his ways, asking him if he was NAB, FBR, Supreme Court and everything.Ishaq Dar said that history stood witness whoever committed treason with Pakistan disastrous consequences. He said that generations of those involved in breaking East Pakistan faced a horrible fate. The finance minister was addressing a gathering in Karachi where he responded to the accusations leveled by the PTI chief earlier.“Yours is **t the last word,” retorted Ishaq Dar adding if the PTI chairman had evidence against anyone, he should contact the relevant forum. “The people have rejected you, therefore, you are taking out your frustration on the public,” said the finance minister.Imran Khan said that they were protesting against Nawaz Sharif because his name had appeared in the Panama Papers. According to Khan, they would be taking the petition to Raiwind as he alleged that all the expenses of Raiwind were paid with the taxpayers’ money.The PTI chairman further said they would launch street protests if they did **t receive justice from institutions.
