LONDON: British Prime Minister Theresa May, through a Petition signed by UK-based Kashmiri representatives, has urged the British government to play role for settlement of Kashmir dispute.
The Petition was presented by a British Kashmiri and Pakistani delegation headed by former AJK Information Minister Mahmood Riaz to Theresa May at 10-Downing Street, London. The delegation included Prof Nazir Ahmed Shawl, chief pattern of Kashmir Concerns Councilor, Sabia Akram Hussain, deputy leader Slough Borough Council, councilors Mohammed Ali and Maria Muneer, human rights activist Haidar Mahmood Riaz Student Youth Representative. A cross-section of Kashmiri and Pakistani community leaders held an urgent session in Slough under chairmanship of Mahmood Riaz where a comprehensive discussion took place and a resolution was passed which is attached with this petition. Millions of people are clueless about the well-being of their loved ones. More than 150 people have an impaired vision caused by the use of pellet guns by the Indian army. Doctors confirm that these people are blinded for their entire life. This collective punishment being carried out by Indian armed forces by the world’s so-called largest democracy will be recorded in human history for the first time. Both India and Pakistan are members of the Commonwealth. The United Kingdom has friendship with both the countries. أكثر... ??????? ??????: Petition urges UK PM to help resolve Kashmir issue || ??????: ahlam1399 || ??????: اسم منتداك
