Seven held with narcotics
From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: Police have arrested seven people and recovered narcotics and wine from them. The police arrested Muhammad Akram with 10 litres wine, Muhammad Majeed with 10 litres wine, Maqsood with four litres wine, Muhammad Farooq with 1,250 grams charas, Muhammad Aslam with 75 grams charas, Sarfraz Ahmad with 60 grams charas, Shafiq Ahmad with a pistol and bullets. The police have registered cases. RAPE BID FOILED: A rape bid was foiled at Chak 14/SP on Sunday. A woman was on her way when two accused including Ibarat Ali caught her, took her to a field, and allegedly tried to rape her. On her hue and cry, the accused fled. Police have registered a case.
