From Our Correspondent BAHAWALPUR: Two women were killed in separate incidents on Saturday. Reportedly, accused Muhammad Saleem of Basti Nikki, tortured and then shot dead his wife Rabia, 21, over a petty domestic issue as why she sent his six-month-old daughter with her mother. Rabia was brought to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital and died there. In the second incident, the body of a woman was found in a gunny bag in Mithrra Canal area in the vicinity of police station Head Rajkan, Tehsil Yazman. The body was carrying torture marks. According to Rajkan police the body was shifted to THQ Hospital for an autopsy. ‘CPEC TO CHANGE GLOBAL TRADE’: MNA and member Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting, Begum Perveen Masood Bhatti Saturday said the CPEC would change the global trade and eco**mic scenario by placing Pakistan as a pivot of regional trade connectivity. LIQUOR RECOVERED FROM WOMAN: Police arrested a woman and recovered foreign liquor from her possession on Saturday. City Chishtian police detained accused Rani of Christian Colony and recovered 18 litre foreign brand liquor from her possession.
