Hundreds injured as Indian troops use force on protesters in IoK *
OCCUPIED KASHMIR: Hundreds of people were injured when Indian troops in occupied Kashmir used brute force to prevent people from staging demonstrations and conducting marches against civilian killings in the Kashmir Valley.
Call for holding of the demonstrations and marches was jointly given by the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, and Hurriyet leaders, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, to register protest against the killing spree unleashed by Indian forces in the territory, Kashmir Media Service reported. The puppet authorities continued to impose strict curfew and other restrictions across the Kashmir Valley on the 57th consecutive day, today. Defying curfew and other restrictions, people in large numbers took to the streets in Srinagar, Badgam, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Kupwara, Islamabad, Baramulla, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and other areas and held massive demonstrations against the killings. They shouted pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans. They also waved Pakistani flags.
