KARACHI: Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah presided over a meeting of the provincial Apex committee, on Wednesday.
According to details, the topics that came under discussion were related to the security situation of the province, National Action Plan, targeted operations and the circumstances that evolved after the August 22 incident.
Among those in attendance were Sindh Gover**r Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, provincial ministers Nisar Khoro, Maula Bakhsh Chandio, Corps Commander Lt. General Naveed Mukhtar, DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar, IG Sindh, Chief Secretary, Interior Ministry Secretary, Advocate General and Prosecutor General.
IG Sindh and DG Rangers briefed the members of the Apex committee on the overall law and order situation of the province. The Chief Secretary of Sindh also briefed the members of the committee on the implementation of the National Action Plan.
