Monsoon currents penetrating eastern parts
The Met officials said weak seasonal low lies over **rth Balochistan while a fresh westerly wave is also likely to enter upper parts of the country tonight and likely to affect upper and central parts of the country during next two to three days. They said Monsoon currents are penetrating eastern parts of the country The Met officials predicted mainly hot and humid weather in most parts of the country while rain-thunderstorm (with isolated heavy fall) accompanied by gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, DI Khan, Bannu, Kohat divisions), Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Zhob, Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad divisions. It rained in other cities including Mandibahauddin (73 mm), Mangla (45 mm), Sargodha ( City 35 mm, A/P 27 mm), Rawalpindi (Chaklala 19 mm, Bokra 06 mm, Shamsabad 02 mm), Lahore (13 mm), Islamabad (Saidpur 10 mm, Z.P 04 mm), Chakwal (09 mm), Gujranwala and Jhelum (07 mm), Sialkot Cantt (06 mm), Murree and Joharabad (01 mm each).
