Ex-PM Ashraf seeks Altaf?s trial
TOBA TEK SINGH: Former prime minister and PPP leader Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain must be tried by the federal government for his anti-Pakistan speech.
While addressing a PPP workers convention in a marriage hall on Canal Road here on Friday, he said that the PPP was still popular among the masses and alleged that the PPP was defeated through massive rigging in 2013 general elections. He said that the PML-N leadership tried its best to prove PPP a corrupt political party but they failed. **w the PML-N leadership was using delaying tactics on the Panama Leaks issue, he added. He said that the nation demands accountability of rulers as how they transferred billions of rupees from Pakistan to abroad. He said that the PPP would win the next general elections. Former minister Ch Manzoor Ahmad, PPP district president Haji Muhammad Ishaq, ex-Punjab social welfare minister Begum Neelum Jabbar and others were also present. أكثر...
