ISLAMABAD August 25: The spokesperson of the Senate Thursday clarified that the Senate Secretariat had **thing to do with the so-called Senate Employees Cooperative housing society and Registrar Cooperative housing Societies Islamabad had been asked to take immediate appropriate action in this regards.
A statement issued by the Senate Media Centre clarified that recently an advertisement appeared in a section of the press through which a misleading impression was created maligning the name of Pakistan.
“The advertisement is illegal and aimed at misguiding the people. The public is advised to remain careful in this regard,” the spokesperson maintained. The Senate Secretariat has also issued instructions to the ICT administration including all the assistant commissioners and other authorities concerned to remove the illegal banners, posters and other advertising material of this housing society.
