Dion Leonard is a happy man again. The Australian athlete has been reunited with Gobi, the dog that he adopted after she accompanied him for part of a marathon in China.*

The two met each other during the Gobi March 4 Desert Race in June. Leonard told reporters that he first **ticed the dog running alongside him on the second day of the race and they bonded when he carried Gobi across a few rivers. By the end of the race, Leonard said that he was so taken by the dog that he decided to adopt her.
