KP govt to take over FEF colleges

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Higher Education and Information Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani on Tuesday said the provincial government was **t
closing the Frontier Education Foundation (FEF) colleges.

During a visit to the FEF College for Girls in Chakdara, he said the provincial Higher Education Department would take over the charge of FEF colleges. He directed the college administration to continue admission as per routine.

Meanwhile, he also visited Government Management Sciences College and Government College for Boys, Thana in Malakand and inspected cleanness, administrative affairs and students’ attendance in the classrooms.

He directed the college administration **t to allow students with less than 75 percent attendance to take the examination. Mushtaq Ghani took **tice of delay in reconstruction work of Government College for Boys which was damaged in earthquake and directed the administration to take up the case with Communication and Works department.

Talking to students on the occasion, he said the provincial government is taking pragmatic steps to upgrade the government colleges to model colleges assuring full support in this regard.
