Amber Heard donates divorce settlement from Johnny Depp
In one fell swoop Amber Heard made all of her detractors’ rue the day they had issued statements regarding the veracity of her claims or her motivation for claiming abuse. Heard’s much publicized divorce from Johnny Depp had unfortunately landed her in the news for all the wrong reasons but the acrimonious case has reached its resolution in court and among the social media commentators.
Having been granted the annulment to her marriage and awarded $7 million dollars, Heard promptly donated all her settlement money to two charities, putting to rest claims that she had staged the entire fiasco for monetary gain. To be honest, $7 million doesn’t sound like much monetary gain for Heard and certainly isn’t going to pinch Depp at all, who probably charges far more than this settlement fee for a single movie.
