Gymnast McKayla Maroney is vaulting into the music world
   McKayla Maroney is used to getting press during the Olympics, so naturally she made a big an**uncement this week. The retired 2012 gold medal-winning Gymnast and friend of Obama is set to drop her debut single next month. Her song “Ghost” will drop on Sept. 8. After facing several injuries since the 2012 Olympics, Maroney decided to give up competitive gymnastics, and she explained how making music has helped ease her transition out of the gymnastics world.
