From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: City police Wednesday detained a foreigner from Pir Kariyanwala, Pakpattan. Police arrested Kalam Khan as he was without legal documents and was living here illegally. A case has been registered against him. MOTORCYCLES STOLEN: A motorcycle was stolen on Wednesday. Reportedly, Muhammad Saleem of Shahdab Colony, Pakpattan, parked his motorcycle outside his house and when he came back he found it missing. FAKE CHEQUE CASE: Police booked a man on charges of issuing a fake cheque. Reportedly, accused Muhammad Muazam had taken Rs 452,617 loan from Jamail Abbas of Shamasabad, Arifwala and gave him a cheque that bounced. Police have registered case. WATER THEFT: Police booked eleven people on charges of stealing canal water. On the report of SDO Irrigation, the police booked Abbas and ten other people of Chak 62-D under 16-MPO. City receives rain From Our Correspondent PAKPATTAN: PAKPATTAN City and its adjoining areas received heavy rain. The rain followed by speedy storm turned the weather pleasant. However, the storm flew away banners and trees. Rain water entered the houses in low-lying areas and choked sewerage system in City and its outskirts.
